honestly depends on the day and circumstances, sometimes it's more dylan and sometimes it's more eric

honestly i've been exposed to it since i was young but i started researching around 10/11?

have you ever written to an inmate?
i'm a minor so i can't yet! i'll probably want to when i'm old enough though

i don't really have an answer for this one to be honest, but a killer i've never really researched would be david berkowitz ??

1. cliche but always eric harris for me.
2. probably the zodiac killer actually, as he never got caught and got away with it for years.
3. richard ramirez!!
4. ahh mostly eric but i can definitely relate to dylan a lot too.
5. no i definitely do not support the death penalty and i think it should be abolished completely.
6. pretty much my whole life but i started researching a lot when i was about 12.
7. again, the zodiac killer!
8. i haven't written to an inmate as of now but i definitely will consider it when im older.

1. Don't really read much about mass murderers, but Randy Stair and her case have been part of the few that captured me.
2. Edmund Kemper is the one who comes off the top of my head.
3. Jeffery Dahmer most definitely.
4. Neither of them.
5. Can't support something that's racist and doesn't work.
6. Very young. I used to get upset and cry because I was scared of the shows my mum watched since she was a big true crime fan as well—mostly she watched cold case files. I got used to seeing them growing up and later they became a hobby.
7. The Cleveland Torso Murders. Such a brutal case and no one arrested for it.
8. No, but I have considered it! Was a minor for much of the time I was into True Crime so it was never an option until recently.
9. Maybe Carl Panzram? He seemed so hateful he'd probably be interesting to talk to. Would also love to talk to Kemper if given the chance.

Probably... personally for me i guess serial killers. I'm NOT interested in them. I'm just not.

Gonna go with Eric Harris on this one, though I keep meaning to read up on Tim McVeigh as well because he seems quite interesting.

I'm not that big on serial killers, so this question just makes me go "eh?".

None of them, but if I had to pick one it'd probably be Dahmer because his psyche is fascinating.

Dylan reminds me of my teenage self, so definitely relate more to him overall.

Nope. I think it's archaic and has far too many issues associated with it to still be a viable sentencing option in a modern-day society.

That was back in 2012, so I was 23 at the time. (Old, I know! I had a cursory interest in it before, but can't pinpoint that to a specific age or case.)

7. most interesting unsolved case?
Zodiac. (Also, does the Jack the Ripper case still count as unsolved? I know they mentioned having some evidence as to the killer's identity not too long ago, but for some reason I still keep thinking it hasn't been solved to anyone's satisfaction.)

8. have you ever written to an inmate?
No, never have and probably never will.

9. if you could write to any killer, dead or alive, who would you write to?
Lee Harvey Oswald.

definitely still counts as unsolved. the original findings of that one university professor or whatever that named a culprit were never peer-reviewed and there's no way i trust any DNA that is purely mitochondrial and also came over some old fabric that nearly everyone has touched in the police force over the years because they had no reason to wear gloves.

I'm going to have to go with Dahmer on this one, although I love reading about most serial killers!

Dahmer! although, I've recently found out that my mum shares the same last name as Richard (she wasn't too happy when I mentioned it, though. yikes)

I mean, I relate to both their emotions? I have pretty bad anger issues and I've dealt with depression for years now, but other than that, I don't really relate to them all that much.

5. do you support death penalty?
It depends. There are so many problems relating to it, such as innocent people being mistakenly convicted and executed, etc. that I actually used the topic of if it should be brought back into Australia (where I live) for my English essay (I argued that it shouldn't). Regardless, to me, rotting in prison for the rest of your life seems like a far worse punishment than death.

I mentioned in another thread that I've been into true crime for as long as I can remember, always laying on the couch with my father watching shows like Killer Kids. That would've been when I was around five to six I believe. However, (like I also mentioned in the other thread) it wasn't until early last year or maybe even late 2015, my memory is crap that I saw a documentary about Dahmer that I really got into TC and decided to do research for myself, rather than rely on shows for all my information. I would've been twelve in 2015.

7. most interesting unsolved case?
I'm not sure, perhaps the Zodiac? that case has me shook, man. The fact two cops (supposedly) passed him after his murder in San Francisco has me angry by the fact he could've been caught right there and then, but the police dispatcher had incorrectly identified the suspect as a black male, rather than some white asshole.

8. have you ever written to an inmate?
I haven't since I am underage, but I've wanted to!

Perhaps Dahmer, Eric Harris, Dylan Klebold, Adam Lanza, or Bundy. That's a tough one.

Wonderful! I didn't feel like trusting those DNA results either, but virtually every newsworthy bit about those findings was talking about the conclusion as though it was a done deal. It kind of threw me to suddenly have everyone go "yeah we know the Ripper's identity so case closed", so I'm quite relieved to hear there are still questions about the legitimacy of it. I'll be adding that to my 'most interesting unsolved cases'-answer, then!
